Articulation
Making the implicit explicit.
Software engineer. Interested in systems, technology, economics, philosophy and how things work.
I write at Articulation, build the occasional independent project, and keep a little background here.
Essays, notes and experiments, on their own site.

Making the implicit explicit.
Independent things I’ve built. Each lives at its own address.
A companion for focus and the structure of a working day.
Mono learns the shape of your day, fills the free time with focus blocks and asks you to name one thing each block is for. It is local-first: everything stays in the browser, with no account, server or sync. A small Chromium extension can block distracting sites during a session.
A distraction-free viewer for YouTube playlists.
Paste a playlist or video URL and watch it in a stripped-down player surrounded only by your own queue: no sidebar recommendations, no autoplay into unrelated videos, no end-screen grid. Lists and watch progress stay in the browser; a small serverless layer handles Google sign-in and keeps credentials out of page scripts.
I’m a software engineer, working mostly on backend systems in .NET and C#. Within software, I’m most interested in architecture and distributed systems: how systems are divided, how their parts communicate, and what happens when that communication fails.
Outside of software I read and think about economics, philosophy, political economy, institutions and history — less as separate subjects than as different ways of asking how complex systems come to work the way they do. I write about these things at Articulation, and occasionally build small tools when a problem seems worth solving properly.
